McAdam specialist polishing was started in 2018 by Matt McAdam, a polisher with an exceptional eye for detail. He started polishing car and bike parts for a company in Kent when he left school gaining further experience in process engineering companies and honing his skills and finding his passion polishing for a silversmiths in Kent working on world sporting trophies, silver and gold ware for the rich and famous, and high-end luxury items going on to polish watches, directly for Rolex and Breitling.
In 2016, he moved with his partner to Dorset, where he worked for a luxury lighting and furniture designer and fabrication companies before starting McAdam specialist polishing in 2018.

Our Story
McAdam Specialist Metal Polishing was founded by Matt McAdam, whose passion for precision engineering and exceptional craftsmanship has built the company into one of the UK's leading specialist metal polishing businesses.
Matt began his career polishing automotive and motorcycle components before broadening his expertise within precision engineering and luxury manufacturing. Over the years, he refined components for world sporting trophies, fine silver and goldware, and high-end luxury products for globally recognised brands including Rolex and Breitling.
After relocating to Dorset, Matt established McAdam Specialist Metal Polishing with a simple vision: to deliver exceptional quality without compromise. Through his reputation for craftsmanship, reliability and attention to detail, he steadily built a loyal customer base across the luxury furniture, architectural, marine, automotive and engineering sectors.
As demand for McAdam's work continued to grow, Matt progressed into training and mentoring other polishers, ensuring the same meticulous standards were maintained throughout the business. Today, he leads the company while investing in the future of the trade by training two apprentice polishers, passing on the skills and attention to detail that define the McAdam name.
